Ngāiwi FM Celebrates 10 Years of Broadcasting
A decade of connecting the Hauraki community through te reo Māori and local music — we reflect on how far we've come and where we're heading.
Ten years ago, Ngāiwi FM first went to air with a simple mission: to be te reo o Hauraki — the voice of Hauraki. Today, that mission burns brighter than ever.
From Humble Beginnings
What started as a small community initiative has grown into a full-time broadcasting service reaching listeners right across the Hauraki rohe. Our studios have expanded, our team has grown, and our audience continues to grow with every passing year.
Looking Ahead
As we look to the next decade, we're committed to bringing more local stories, more reo Māori content, and deeper connections to the people and places that make Hauraki so special. Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa.
